East Lennox & Addington OPP Detachment Board

That the Board appoint Jessica Jones as the Chair for the East Lennox & Addington OPP Detachment Board for the remainder of 2024.

That the Board appoint Shari Milligan as the Vice Chair for the East Lennox & Addington OPP Detachment Board for the remainder of 2024.

That the agenda of the November 14, 2024 meeting of the Board be confirmed as circulated.

That the Board confirm East Lennox and Addington OPP Detachment Board as the name of the Board; That the Board approve the draft by-law to confirm its name; and That the Secretary/Treasurer submit the name of the Board to update in Regulation 135/24.

That the Board direct the Secretary/Treasurer to proceed with making an application for Board Insurance for through the Ontario Association of Police Services Board; That the cost of the insurance be distributed equally amongst the 4 partner municipalities; and That the chair and Secretary/Treasurer be authorized to execute any documents and agreements required for the Detachment Board Insurance.

That the Board approve the draft Abuse Discrimination Harassment and Violence Policy.

That the draft 2025 Operating Budget be approved as amended as follows:  The OAPSB Annual Membership Fee be reduced from $10,000 to $5,200;  Increase the OAPSB Zone 2 Meeting expenses from $1,000 to $3,000; and  Add $2,800 to Board Reserves. That the Board direct the Board Secretary/Treasurer to forward the approved budget to the partner municipalities for inclusion into their 2025 municipal budget.

That the 2025 Board meeting schedule be set as follows: January 2025 April 2025 July 2025 October 2025 And, that the meeting location rotate between the four partnering municipalities.

That the Board receive the OPP Detachment's Quarter 3 Report as information.

That the meeting now adjourn at 2:50 p.m.
